The Hanoi Children Palace will join the Prague Arts Troupe from the Czech Republic to host a series of events to mark the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The ten-day programme, which will last through Oct. 10, will include a painting exhibition, a water puppetry, a concert and a Czech traditional gastronomic festival.
Vice Director of the Palace Le Quang Tuan expressed the hope that following the programme, his palace would cooperate with its Czech counterparts to organise exchanges between the two countries’ children to enhance mutual understanding and assistance.
The Czech friends have helped built the palace which has become a major centre for cultural and sports activities for Hanoian children.
